We are Located in Bayswater, Nova Scotia, on the scenic Aspotogan Peninsula. Trevor & Darlene Awalt are a husband and wife team with a love of photography. We have been registered business with the Province of Nova Scotia since November 20, 2018. We provide photography for portraits, commercial head shots, events, wall art, cards, and if you’re considering an idea or project we would be happy to help.

Darlene Awalt obtained her Certificate of Graduation in the Professional Photography Course from The New York Institute of Photography in February 2022. Darlene started getting serious about photography around 2012, she was looking for some help with her photography which is how she met Trevor.
She has been a member of the Bridgewater Photographic Society since 2012 and achieved the photographer of the year award for the 2016-2017 season and was past co-chair of the competition committee. Darlene is also a member of the Sackville Photo Club and the Nova Scotia Bird Society.
Photography feeds her soul, her healthy addiction, it opens her eyes to everyday beauty. While still learning the art of photography she feels and hopes it will be her lifetime journey.

Trevor Awalt obtained his Certificate of Graduation in the Professional Photography Course from The New York Institute of Photography in July 2022. Trevor is a Certified Electronics Technologist who worked in the telecommunications industry for over 34 years and retired in early 2014. Since the 1980’s he started in film photography with an Olympus SLR and in the early 2000’s, began working with a Kodak digital camera to take pictures of the FHCS Boys Basketball team.
In 2007 Trevor became more serious with photography spending all his spare time reading and practicing photography, purchasing his first DSLR in 2010, then shooting his first wedding in 2012. He was invited to be one of three judges by the Photographic Guild of Nova Scotia for the Winter National CAPA Wildlife competition in December 2014. Trevor is currently a member of the Bridgewater Photographic Society (past chairperson for the competition committee, and past web master), Sackville Photo club, the Nova Scotia Bird Society, and a host on the You Can Learn Photography Podcast.
