2021 Grad Photo Shoots

We are currently offering a Covid special for Grad 2021 Photo Shoots, $50 for 10 edited photos. Right now we are shooting our photo sessions outside, but we’re expecting that we’ll be able to offer studio sessions once the Covid-19 restrictions are moved to Phase 2 here in Nova Scotia around the middle of June.

If you are interested, just contact us, phone/text (902) 277-2998 or email to info@dibphoto.ca for an appointment. Please note you are required to provide the gown and hat for the session.

Prior to the photo shoot we like to discuss some details; any ideas you may have, an old photo such as 1st day going to school, a hobby that you may want to incorporate, indoor/outdoor, location, etc…

We choose the ten (10) best images from the photo shoot. Within 5 to 7 days, your edited digital images, sized to 5″x7″, will be available via a private link password protected, with the ability to directly download, “Shootproof” gallery.

In addition we can provide any size digital file that you need, example 5×5, 10×10, 8×10, 8×12, 11×14, 16×20 etc…, by letting us know which file and what size then we’ll upload it to the same gallery at no additional cost.

As a bonus we’ll include a digital three (3) image collage (you choose which 3 images), examples shown above, sized to 5″x7″. As an option, if you choose to do so, the collage can be provided as an 11×14 3/4″ stretched canvas for an additional cost of $52.98. Or if you prefer an 11×14 print the cost would be $25.50.

An additional bonus we’ll also include a photo with mom and/or dad.

If you would like any images in print and/or canvas at any size we would be happy to help. Your cost would be the charge from our preferred photo lab + shipping + taxes + a one time $10 administration fee (we provide a quote and request an e-transfer before we proceed).

We are providing this special deal because we feel it’s so important to document this great achievement for your graduate, family, relatives, and friends. It’s something we hope you’ll always treasure.

Merry Christmas 2020

We would like to thank all our customers in 2020 for their patronage during a difficult year.

We put together a short video for your relaxation and enjoyment, while we were out to Red Bank Beach in Blandford, Nova Scotia on Christmas Eve.

We hope that 2021 will be a better year for everyone and we wish you all a safe and Happy New Year.

Open Update Nov 2020

We have currently discontinued in studio photo shoots, and have changed any previously booked photo shoots to outdoor on location to maximize social distancing.

Hockey Photo Sessions

We have also been quite busy helping out some local Hockey Teams with their on location individual and team photos, as well as hockey cards. From the photos we are also able to create Team Posters available in various sizes.

Here is a sample of individual posed photos shot on ice:

We also create Hockey Cards using some of the photos and have them printed in color on card stock. Here is a font and back example:

Here is an example of an on ice team photo with a lights digital background added:

And finally an example of a Team Poster created from the head shots taken during the on ice photo shoot. The posters can be printed 5×7, 8×10, 11×14 or 16×20. Although the 5×7 is a bit small it is still easy to see the team members, the 8×10 or 11×14 are a great size for framing, and the 16×20 is an excellent size Poster for the wall.

Open Update Aug 2020

As of Aug 1, 2020 we have opened with more services while still following the current Nova Scotia Provincial Coronavirus Pandemic guidelines.

Contact us for any portrait session(s) you would like to book keeping in mind for indoor and outdoor photo shoot(s) we currently restrict them to no more than 10 people. For indoor sessions, you will be asked to wash your hands upon arrival and we (the photographers) will be wearing masks for your protection. For outdoor sessions, weather permitting, we will also be following the current social distancing rules of six (6) feet and we (the photographers) will wear masks when necessary.

We will continue to monitor the Nova Scotia Government Web Site Notices for any change in guidelines or restrictions.
